Language -
Language barriers can affect communication. In many ways, because without knowing a language, you simply cannot effectively communicate with the other person. Example if someone moves to another country without knowing the native language of that country then there is no way that they can achieve daily activities with anybody. Not knowing the language then you can resort to sign language or body movements to get your point across.
Cultural Differences -
Cultural differences are the variations in the way of life, beliefs, traditions and laws between different countries, religions, societies and people. Many people see culture as an all encompassing overview of large groups of people. However, the word culture can be used to describe the way of life of much smaller groups.
Cultural identity is the identity of a group or culture, or of an individual as far as one is influenced by one's belonging to a group or culture. Cultural identity is similar to and overlaps with, identity politics.
Distractions | Background Noise -
When it comes to background noise, there are certain barriers that every organization faces.
Noise can be included such as environmental noise, organizational noise. Environmental noise is physically and can disrupt communication, such as standing next to loud speakers at certain locations such as a party or office or the noise from a construction site which makes it difficult to hear the professor.
There can be many distractions that can include that comes from your environment. Whether it coming from events occurring outside or a cell phone or a TV. Even People in a room, all these distractions can draw your attention away and cause a distraction.
Distractions can also occur from within. The biggest distraction can be your own thoughts even though your mind can be racing with different irrelevant thoughts that means it can prevent you from truly paying attention and causing a big time distraction.
To overcome certain distractions you may have to block out such distractions as turning off your mobile phone or TV or even computer. If these things keep on occurring they can easily distract you.
Spelling and Grammar -
Spelling and grammar skills are an important part of communication. Good grammar skills allow you to communicate your message with clarity and ease to a big audience larger audience than you can through face-to-face or even a telephone conversation. A well written C.V. with no spelling or grammatical mistakes so that it would not only make a good C.V but also show that you have a good sign of good spelling and grammar.
Proofreading -
Proofreading is when you read over a document or piece of written work which is then checked by someone else to see if there is any errors or mistakes. These mistakes may be spelling or grammatical. Proofreaders do not necessarily correct these errors but just look over to record them and also to point them out to the user to correct for the next time.
